This Cookie Policy explains how Dave & Jane's Crabhouse ("Dave & Jane's," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?

Cookies we use
Essential / functional. These are needed for the Site to work properly and to remember basic state as you navigate. They do not track you across other websites.
Analytics. We use PostHog (United States) to understand how visitors interact with the Site — for example, which pages are viewed and which links are clicked — so we can improve it. This service sets its own cookies (for example, identifiers that distinguish one visitor from another) and may record usage events. The information is used in aggregate to measure and improve the Site. We do not send contact-form names, email addresses, or message contents to our analytics provider (see the Privacy Policy).
Third-party cookies
Our analytics provider, PostHog (United States), is a third party that processes data on our behalf and may set its own cookies as described above.
Pages that include an embedded map may load content from the map provider, which can set its own cookies and receive your IP address. This is governed by that provider's own policies.
Some content on the Site may be served by third parties (for example, fonts or media hosts), which can receive technical information such as your IP address as part of delivering that content.
